Così ha termine il primo semplice giorno di viaggio.
Un giorno passato prevalentemente sul pullman mentre questo ci portava da Portici a Bologna... Anzola di Bologna per essere precisi...

Ebbene si!
Siamo tornati ai salici e adesso scrivo questo messaggio direttamente connesso alla rete wi-fi dell'agriturismo.

Puro spettacolo come sempre... Mauro, il proprietario, è gentilissimo e ci ha accolto a braccia aperte... la moglie (o la sorella... ho vergogna di ammettere che non ricordo :( ) anche...

Ma andiamo più piano e raccontiamo tutta la giornata...

La giornata inizia la sera prima con la preparazione della valigia... diamine che casino alla fine preferisco lasciare un pò di cose a casa per non appesantirmi troppo... ok che la valigia non la devo portare io a mano... ma preferisco così!

In ogni caso in mattinata, dopo aver finito di preparare tutto l'armamentario tecnologico che mi servirà mi reco a portici accompagnato da mia madre che deve riportare indietro la macchina... ne abbiamo una sola non è cosa buona e giusta lasciarla a portici mentre io non ci sono...

in ogni caso gli studenti tardano e, quindi, ci si mette di più a partire... rispeto al CPT1, però, partiamo con un minimo di anticipo.

Pranzo all'autogrill di cassino... la carne è buona... il primo ricorda il caffè di Peppe!

Ci rimettimao in viaggio e la mia fortuna colpisce ancora... come? semplice! qualcosa (EDC si chiama la spia) si rompe e, quindi, il pullman non può superare gli 80-90 Kmh... yattah!

In ogni caso dopo un paio di soste per stiracchiarchi le gambe e dopo aver gioito per due studenti che hanno vinto 600 euro a testa in una delle soste.... beh semplicemente siamo arrivati da Mauro che ci ha accolto benissimo.

La cena?
Risotto agli asparaghi - rotolo di maiale e frittata  e patate al forno - insalata - gelato con amaretti.

Tutto ottimo e anche dotato di BIS... ovviamente innaffiato da un Lambrusco e da un vino bianco che non so.

Ora sto sul letto a riposare e mi preparo ad un oretta di lavoro

Surrogates - Il mondo dei replicanti

Film di fantascienza moderna con Bruce Willies.

La storia è semplice:
Il poliziotto che ha perso il figlio in un incidente e che non ama particolarmente questi replicanti meccanici che gli uomini utilizzano al posto di "vivere la vita in prima persona" viene chiamato ad indagare sulla morte di un robot (Hey Io, Robot? Ci sei?). Alla fine scopre che quello morto non è solo il robot ma anche il suo operatore... una cosa che non era successa mai prima!
Insomma una cosa pericolosa dato che il robot non ha danni esterni particolari.

Ovviamente la sua vita non è proprio l'idillio che uno si aspetta:

1. Il figlio è morto
2. La moglie non sa lasciare la connessione al surrogato.

Da qui una serie di inseguimenti, colpi di scene a anche evoluzioni narrative che, pur se non perfette, permettono allo spettatore di seguire la storia anche se il colpo di scena finale è atteso... beh quello prima no!

Insomma una storia godibile e con un finale interessante.

Be Kind Rewind

Incredibilmente mi ero perso questo film.... incredibilmente mi sono perso una fraccata di film!

Veramente una fraccata... un'analisi fatta tramite film-UP indica che la mia frequentazione al cinema, se eliminiamo l'occasionale blockbuster, si ferma a GIUGNO 2008... praticamente 2 anni fa.

Ho pensato di colmare un pò il vuoto e mi sono dato a vedere un film (ok 2) ma quale?
ho iniziato da un filmetto con Jack Black, attore/musicista che mi ha sempre dato soddisfazione (ok non con il film in cui fa il wrestler).... che dire? anche questa volta non ha tradito l'attesa.

Be Kind Rewind è la storia di un trio di tipi (apparentemente 2 ma anche la ragazza ha un ruolo fondamentale IMHO!) che "rigirano" i film dato che li hanno cancellati... lo dico così perché non voglio rovinare il film ad altri... ma cacchio... il tutto è veramente bello...

lo slogan "i film con un'anima" è un bello slogan e i film sono anche divertenti.... mostrano un buon amore per il cinema,,, ma quello di cassetta non quello "importante"... insomma quello di ghostbuster e di robocop per dirla tutta.

diciamo che sono 2 ore di tempo ben spese (nonostante il finale! quale finale? beh per saperlo si deve vedere il film!)

EUReKA? 3rd Season? When I Get a 4th one?

I've just finished watching the last 2 episodes of EUReKA's 3rd Season... AMAZING!!!

Zoe heading for the college thanks to a letter of refferral by Hanry... Jack maybe going with Tessa in Australia... Taggart Back in Action... Allison with a new baby...

uhmmm Some forecast for the next season:
1. Stark will be back... He is DEAD? nope! He's just disappeared in the Time-Continuum let's wait for his return...
2. Carter will go to Australia... I can't believe him to lose Tessa after losing Zoe and Allyson
3. Kim will appear once more... I do not know why but I strongly believe this^_^
4. The Fargo's fiancee... she will be more present in the next season!

These are my forecasts... can't wait to see what I've got right (not so sure on the 2nd one).

Charted! - Normal

This is the latter trophy I've got in Uncharted 2! - Among Thieves...

It only means I've ended all the game in the normal difficulty level.

Let's review the game a little bit:

Overall

Amazing... A really good story with a really good playability... it got an awesome graphic too!

Main Characters

1. Drake - Funny witty crazy mountaine... ehm... thief.
2. Elena - The blonde reporter with a gun and an attitude
3. Chloe - Dirty, self-conscious, Lethal... in a word? Hot
4. Harry - Crappy unuseful traitor!
5. Tenzin - This is the real mountaineer... A knife, a language noone knows
6. Lazarevic - The evil warlord... a real power seeker with more man than wits...

Weak Points
Ok lets speak about the weak points of the game... yes there are a few...
The first thing that come into my mind id the difficulty level... far too easy (maybe this is due to my "normal" setting!)
Another thing I'm not too pleased is the longevity of the other characters THEY NEVER DIE (in capitalswo it is more clear!) it useful but it is annoying too.
The same can BE said of Drake... he is almost invulnerable... what I'm speaking about? the "Self-heal" game preference.
You'll heal yourself back to normal healt in 5-10 seconds and this CHANGES the gameplay...
For example in the village on the himalaya it is sometimes easier just to bash in the houses while shooting than to go in with a normal reverence given to 2-3 men waiting for you with AK-47s and 9mms. It feels like cheating!
Another thing I've not liked too much is I've been forced to play it with a LD TV-Set.. this game literally screams for HD!!

Strong points
All the other things... easy!
Good controls let you merge with the characted that will be treated as a natural extension of your body.

So?
So What? You've nothign more to ask... ok it's a Joke!

The real catchall is the Story!
It is difficult to explain it to someone without spoiling the fun. I t should be enough to say that this time Drake is on the trail of Marco Polo and will travel to Borneo and Nepal.

Main Scenes

The game is a little more Tarantinian starting from the middle of the game...
Some scenes I've really liked:
1. The trainwreck
2. Escaping from the museum
3. The train
4. The convoy
5. Shrangi-la
6. The ending (CLOWNS!)

EUREKA 2nd Season

Just brilliant!

I do not want to spoil anything to anyone so if you go on reading do it at your own fault (not kidding!)

1. Henry with the dark-secret twisted attitude
2. Carter with the not-so-hot-still-way-too-hot laundry-mat entrepreneurs
3. Zoe with her boyfriend... and Lupo too!
4. Stark is still there after all...


These are only some of the plotlines of this fantastic second season... can't help thinking How much I'll like to see the 3rd!

Ok... there were not too much spoiling from me, were'nt they?
This was just a post to share my fondness for this TV-Show...

EUReKA

I'm fairly impressed with this TV-Show.
The first time it was presented to me was more than a couple of years ago when a friend insistend on me seeing the pilot (firts episode I believe).

I got a mixed satisfaction... it was an interesting thing... but I did not wanted to see it at the moment...

So here they comes: Easter holidays!!
I got some time to nap and see something new... and settled for:
1. LotS (you should have figured it out from the previous post)
2. Eureka.

I've seen 1st and 2nd season: Thumbs UP!

• Carter is an interesting character... you can feel he is out of place but try to fit int in the weirdest community of all.
• Zoe is the classic prankster Illdosomethingwrongyoullhelpoutofit daughter but its character is catchy!
• Allison... ok it's the Intelligent-Sexy DoD woman...
• Lupo Crazy weapon loving girl... sometimes it's the funny moment sometimes its a key character... most of time is sheer craziness!
• Henry.... Henry it's Henry! Beautiful dark side in the 2nd season!
• Stark? I do not like stark... but this is his role so I think is a good thing^_^
• Beverly? Where's the sexy psychiatry? In the last few episodes I've seen I miss her!

Best Character? HENRY!!!!
